The group draw for the 2026 World Baseball Classic has been officially announced. Among them, three strong Asian teams, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, are all placed in Group C, while two favorites to win the title, the USA and Mexico, are drawn in Group B.

The group stage matches will commence on March 5th, with the final taking place on March 17th at LoanDepot Park, the home of the Miami Marlins. In the previous Classic, Japan triumphed over the USA with a 3-2 victory in the final.
