On August 19, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) officially announced the new training squad list for the U21 men’s football team. The team will organize training under head coach Antonio and participate in an international invitational tournament at the end of August to early September.

In preparation for the 2025 U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers and the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games, after research by the coaching staff and approval by the Chinese Football Association, the China U-21 national men’s football team is scheduled to organize a training camp and participate in an international football invitational tournament at the National Football Training Base in Changsha, Hunan Province, from August 23 to September 11, 2024.
