According to The Telegraph, English forward Ivan Toney, who has joined Al Ittihad Jeddah, hopes that his national team career will not be prematurely ended due to this transfer.
Toney completed his transfer on the Premier League summer window deadline day last week, becoming a member of Al Ittihad Jeddah, and with bonuses included in the contract, Toney’s weekly salary will approach £1 million.
It is understood that Toney remains optimistic about his future with the national team, believing he can still be selected for the England squad.
