During yesterday’s regular training session, Cristante lost possession of the ball but did not immediately chase back as De Rossi had demanded. This led to a heated argument between De Rossi and the player. Another midfield teammate, Paredes, who is closer to De Rossi, also took sides.
Subsequently, Roma officials responded by stating that the exchange between Cristante and De Rossi was a normal technical discussion, and there was no intense conflict as reported.
