Fren Media: Mané Wants to Leave Due to Dispute with Ronaldo; Al-Nassr Prepares to Send Him to Al-Ittihad Jeddah

According to French media reports, Senegalese star Sadio Mané hopes to leave Al-Nassr due to a disagreement with Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to the French media outlet “Football Market,” Mané is considering leaving Al-Nassr this summer because of his cold relationship with Ronaldo. Last summer, Mané joined Al-Nassr for a transfer fee of £24 million.

There are indications that Mané may be loaned out to Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi Professional League.

Since joining Al-Nassr, Mané has made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists. However, he has often faced criticism from fans who believe his performance did not meet expectations.

Despite Mané and Ronaldo playing together in 43 matches, leading Al-Nassr to an average of 2.26 points per game, the team still failed to win the Saudi Professional League title due to the stronger performance of Al-Hilal Riyadh.

In just a few months, Al-Nassr witnessed their main rivals, Al-Hilal Riyadh, lift three trophies, including the Saudi Professional League title for the 2023/24 season, the King’s Cup, and most recently the Super Cup.

Even with a superstar like Ronaldo in the squad, Al-Nassr remained at a disadvantage against Al-Hilal Riyadh. Especially after losing 1-4 to Al-Hilal in the Super Cup final, Ronaldo publicly criticized his teammates’ performances as lackluster and directly left the field for the locker room, refusing to accept the runner-up medal.
