On August 17, Serie A club Genoa officially announced that the 25-year-old Italian forward Andrea Pinamonti has joined the team on loan from Sassuolo and will wear the number 19 shirt. At the end of the loan period, the club has the option to make the move permanent.
According to reports, Genoa will pay Sassuolo a loan fee of 2 million euros, with an option to buy at the end of the season for a fee of 14 million euros.
The 25-year-old Pinamonti started his career in the Chievo youth system, moving to Inter Milan’s youth academy in 2013. He subsequently played for Inter Milan, Frosinone, and Genoa before joining Sassuolo in 2023 for a transfer fee of 20 million euros. Last season, he made 40 appearances for Sassuolo, starting 38 times, scoring 12 goals, and providing one assist. Currently, his market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
