Manchester United Legends Rally Behind Red Devils for Champions League Qualification in New Season; Shearer and Lineker Disagree

The new Premier League season is about to kick off, and Manchester United remains one of the teams that attract the most attention. When predicting Manchester United’s performance in the new season, Shearer and Lineker believe that it will be difficult for Manchester United to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the Champions League. However, a host of Manchester United legends, including Neville, Scholes, Ferdinand, Keane, and Hargreaves, think that the Red Devils will make it into the top 4.

Shearer believes that it will be challenging for Manchester United to enter the Champions League zone in the new season: “Although Manchester United left a good impression on me during the Community Shield, they had a chance to win the game. However, since last season, Manchester United has been striving to improve their ranking, but they only finished 8th last season. They will continue to fight for a place in the Champions League.”

Lineker clearly believes that Manchester United will not qualify for the Champions League: “I think they will miss out on the Champions League. It’s easier to get into European competitions, but the Champions League will be tough.”

As a Manchester United legend, Gary Neville supports Manchester United: “I am optimistic that Manchester United can secure a Champions League spot. They can finish in the top 4 of the league. Instead, I’m unsure if Liverpool can make it into the top 4.”

Owen Hargreaves and Scholes, as Manchester United legends, also maintain that Manchester United can finish in the top 4: “Manchester United is getting better and better, and they’ve made some good signings.” However, Scholes thinks that the best Manchester United can hope for is 4th place in the Premier League: “Many Manchester United fans are very excited about the new season, and so am I.”
