According to French media outlet Foot Mercato, Barcelona has reached a transfer agreement with Ligue 1’s Nice, and central defender Faye is set to officially join.
The report indicates that Faye will join Nice for a fixed transfer fee of 11 million euros plus 4 million euros in bonuses, totaling 15 million euros. Barcelona retains a buy-back clause, with the buy-back amount set at 30 million euros.
The 20-year-old Faye is already a Senegalese international, playing as a central defender, and has made two substitute appearances during Barcelona’s pre-season games.
