In the fifth round of the Premier League, Stones scored an equalizing goal in the 98th minute, resulting in a tough 2-2 draw for Manchester City against ten-man Arsenal at home.

According to statistics, Stones’ equalizing goal in the 98th minute is the latest goal ever scored by Manchester City in the Premier League. This shot by Stones was also Manchester City’s 28th attempt on goal in the second half, which ties for the second-highest number of shots by a single team in one half of a Premier League game since the 2003/04 season. The record is held by Manchester City with 34 shots against Queens Park Rangers in May 2012.

Arsenal, playing with one man down, were mostly on the defensive and only managed one shot on goal throughout the entire second half.
