According to AS, former Argentine international Higuain has returned to football two years after his retirement. He will return to Inter Miami, where he previously played and became the club’s top scorer.
The 36-year-old Higuain will serve as a player development coach for Inter Miami’s second team, responsible for guiding young players in the youth system and helping them progress more smoothly from the second team to the first team. Higuain will work alongside his brother, Federico Higuain, who is the head coach of the second team at Inter Miami.
During his playing career, Higuain played for clubs such as Real Madrid, Napoli, and Juventus, and joined Inter Miami in 2020, making 70 appearances and scoring 29 goals for the team.
