According to Arsenal correspondent Charles Watts, Thomas Partey is ruled out of this month’s national team games due to illness and will remain at Arsenal for rest.

Charles Watts tweeted: “Thomas will stay at Arsenal during the international break this month.”

“It is understood that Thomas is ill (not injured), and both the national team and the club have agreed that he should take a break after playing so many games this season. This decision is purely precautionary to prevent any injury to Thomas.”

This season, Thomas has made a total of 9 appearances for the Gunners in the league and Champions League, accumulating a total playtime of 741 minutes.
