On September 25, La Liga club Sevilla officially announced that following their 2-1 victory over Valladolid, the team and head coach Pimienta have agreed to extend his contract until 2027. The coaching staff had already completed the contract signing after the match against Getafe.
In July of this year, Sevilla officially announced the appointment of new head coach Pimienta. In the seven matches under his management, Pimienta achieved two wins, two draws, and three losses, with a win rate of only 28.5%.
At the post-match press conference, Pimienta personally addressed the contract extension, “They (Sevilla’s senior management) saw my work; I feel very comfortable here, and I am very confident.
