Today, the F1 Singapore qualifying session officially commenced.
In Q1, both Sauber drivers, Zhou Guanyu and Bottas, along with Gasly, Stroll, and Riccardo were eliminated, with Norris setting the fastest time in Q1.
In Q2, Red Bull’s Perez was eliminated, as well as Albon and Krapinto from Williams, Magnussen, and Ocon. Piastri took the fastest time in Q2.
In Q3, Sainz’s collision with the wall triggered a red flag. After a brief pause, the session resumed, and Norris secured pole position with a time of 1 minute 29 seconds 525, followed by Verstappen and Hamilton in second and third. Leclerc’s lap time was disqualified, placing both Ferraris ninth and tenth.
