Pogba: The nightmare is finally over, I never used performance-enhancing drugs in violation of regulations
Pogba’s suspension period has been shortened, and he will return in March next year.
The Frenchman’s statement reads as follows: “Finally, the nightmare is over. According to the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, I can look forward to the day when I can chase my dreams again. I have always stated that when I took nutritional supplements prescribed by a doctor, I never intentionally violated the World Anti-Doping Agency’s rules, and these supplements do not affect or enhance male athletes’ performances. I play with integrity, and although I had to accept that it was a strict liability offense, I want to record my gratitude to the judges of the Court of Arbitration for Sport who listened to my explanation. This period has been very painful for me because everything I worked hard for had to be put on hold. Thank you again for all the love and support. I can’t wait to get back on the field.”
