The official social media of Manchester United wrote: 30 years ago today, the glorious career of the Manchester United legend officially began as Scholes made his debut.
Scholes played as a midfielder, coming through the ranks at Manchester United, and made his debut for Manchester United in a League Cup match on September 21, 1994, scoring two goals in that game.
In nearly 20 years of service to Manchester United, Scholes made 713 appearances across all competitions for the club, contributing 153 goals and 81 assists.
