The report states that there were not only violations in the selection process of current head coach Hong Myung-bo but also in the previous selection process of former head coach Jürgen Klinsmann.

The final audit results are scheduled to be announced by the end of October. The results released today are interim findings, as the audit of the national team coach selection process has been a matter of public concern and was subject to parliamentary inquiry.

Previously, it was reported that if unfairness is found in the appointment process of Hong Myung-bo, the Korean team will restart the coach selection process. On October 10 at 10 PM, South Korea is set to play against Jordan in the World Cup qualifiers.
