Previously, Leiria’s home stadium hosted the Rockin’1000 music festival, which subsequently caused severe damage to the pitch. From the official aerial photos released, it is evident that the entire pitch is in a poor state, resembling a vegetable patch. Extensive repairs and interventions are necessary to restore the pitch to a condition suitable for hosting games. Therefore, for the next two home games (against Maritimo and Fergelas), Leiria will not be able to play in their own stadium.
