According to the two victims, they met Rafa Mir at a well-known nightclub in Valencia, partied all night, and then accepted his invitation to go back to the villa where he lived by car in the early hours of the next morning, where the sexual assault took place.

The victim stated that the first assault occurred in the swimming pool of the villa, where Rafa Mir threw one of the women into the water and forcibly hugged her, saying, “Don’t be angry, we came here to have fun.” During this process, Mir also touched the private parts of the victim with his hands.

The second assault occurred in the bathroom of the villa, where Mil himself defended himself by saying that he only wanted to talk to the angry woman in the bathroom because there was “no need to worry about furniture getting wet.”

However, such an explanation clearly contradicts the version given by the victim, who said that after the first assault, she wanted to leave but was grabbed by Mil and locked in the bathroom, where she suffered the second assault in the bathtub.

A friend of Rafa Mil was also involved in the incident; reportedly, he hit the victim woman after the incident, pulled off the towel from her body, and threw her out onto the street almost half-naked, causing the 21-year-old woman to nearly break down mentally.

On the other hand, Rafa Mil has consistently maintained that both parties were always willing throughout the entire incident, but he could not explain why there were bruises on the victim’s arms, lips, and other areas, which has cast doubt on his defense testimony.
