Safe Spectating! Dalian Police: Strictly Prohibited to Surround Coaches, Players, Staff Members, and Away Team Fans

On September 8, the second round of the 18-strong group stage will see the Chinese national team face Saudi Arabia at the Dalian Cuttlefish Bay Football Stadium. Before the match, the Dalian police have issued a safety advisory for spectators.

The Dalian police have released a safety advisory for spectators during the third stage (18-strong group) match between the Chinese national team and the Saudi Arabian national team in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup:

The third stage (18-strong group) match of the 2026 World Cup Asian qualifiers between the Chinese national team and the Saudi Arabian national team will be held on September 10 at the Dalian Cuttlefish Bay Football Stadium. To ensure the personal safety of spectators and maintain good order in the stadium, the Dalian Public Security reminds spectators to pay attention to the following matters when attending the match:

One, voluntarily abide by laws, social morals, and public order, give priority to taking care of women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, and showcase the city’s civilized image.

Two, after ticket-holding spectators arrive at the initial screening area on Wanjing Street, please actively show your e-ticket. After successful initial screening, you can enter the enclosed area of the Cuttlefish Bay Football Stadium.

Three, after passing through the security check area into the ticket verification area of the turnstile, please actively show the original valid ID of the ticket purchaser for facial recognition comparison. After a successful match, you can pass through the turnstile ticket checkpoint.

Four, take good care of your belongings and try not to carry valuables to avoid property loss.

Five, please sit according to the numbered seats shown on your ticket, one person per ticket. When entering and exiting the stands, you must carry the original valid ID and e-ticket; otherwise, it will be considered as entering without a ticket. Do not crowd upon arrival; the half-hour before the game is the peak entry period, so try to avoid this time.

Six, voluntarily accept and cooperate with security checks. It is strictly prohibited to carry flammable and explosive items, firearms and ammunition, crossbows, controlled knives; it is strictly prohibited to carry promotional materials with offensive content, laser pointers, soft or hard-packaged beverages, and other throwable items; it is strictly prohibited to bring pets into the venue; it is strictly prohibited for intoxicated individuals to enter; it is strictly prohibited to purchase and carry balloons filled with hydrogen and other toys; it is strictly prohibited to use drones without approval.

Seven, it is strictly prohibited to throw objects (including cushions) into the field, set off fireworks (including cold fireworks), ignite items, stand in the aisles or lean over guardrails to watch the game; it is strictly prohibited to climb over the stands, rush onto the field, shout slogans or display banners with provocative or offensive content.

Eight, pay attention to observe and understand the on-site guidance signs and the locations of emergency exits and evacuation routes. In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the on-site announcements and staff.

Nine, after the match, please leave the venue in an orderly manner and do not linger. It is strictly prohibited to surround coaches, players, staff members, and away team fans.

Ten, pay attention to the surrounding situation and do not go to areas that are too crowded. When encountering local congestion, do not spectate, try to detour or choose a safe place for a short stay. When walking in a crowd, always maintain orderly passage to avoid danger. If accidentally caught up in a crowded crowd, move in the same direction as most people, do not try to overtake others, and do not walk against the flow. Due to the large number of spectators at this match, the roads around the stadium are important evacuation routes. To ensure smooth evacuation, it is strictly prohibited to set up stalls or engage in any sales activities on the roads around the stadium.

Eleven, it is recommended that fans choose public transportation where possible, follow the directions of the police officers on duty, and park vehicles in an orderly manner.

Twelve, the away team for this event is the Saudi Arabian national team, and there will be fans from all over the world cheering for the Saudi national team among the audience. Customs vary greatly between different countries and regions, and different ethnic groups. When interacting with foreigners, pay attention to respecting the special customs between different ethnicities and cultures.

Please all spectators voluntarily abide by the above matters. For acts that violate public security management, the public security organs will impose penalties in accordance with the “Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments”; if they constitute a crime, criminal responsibility will be pursued in accordance with law.
