V-League club Nam Dinh SC has released an announcement, confirming that their Brazilian forward, Rafaelson, has officially been naturalized and will hereafter compete under the name “Nguyen Xuan Son.”
Nguyen Xuan Son is currently 27 years old, a product of the Esporte Clube Vitória youth academy, and has previously played for teams such as Vegalta Sendai and Nieciecza. He arrived in Vietnamese football in January 2020 and joined Nam Dinh SC on a free transfer in September 2023.
Since joining Nam Dinh SC, Rafaelson has demonstrated remarkable scoring efficiency, making 47 appearances and contributing 41 goals and 9 assists.
