Recently, Galatasaray’s vice president Ibrahim Hatipoglu, in an interview with Spor Kazani, refuted the possibility of Osimhen leaving during the winter transfer window, expressing his hope for continued cooperation next summer.
Hatipoglu made it clear to the media that Galatasaray has long-term plans for Osimhen, stating, “There is no possibility of Osimhen leaving the team in January. We are also considering keeping him for another season, until next June, he will still be a Galatasaray player.”
He then added, “Osimhen demonstrates his attachment to the team in every game. A player only plays where they feel happy, and his contract with us runs until the end of this season.”
Finally, he reiterated regarding Osimhen’s contract, “We would rather consider how to extend his loan period. Discussions about him leaving mid-season make no sense.”
