On October 5, CONMEBOL officially announced that the 2024 Copa Libertadores final will be held at River Plate’s home ground, the Monumental Stadium.
Currently, the Copa Libertadores has entered the semi-final stage, with matches between Atlético Mineiro vs River Plate and Botafogo vs Peñarol. The two legs of the semi-finals will take place on October 24 and October 31. The final match is scheduled for December 1.
The Monumental Stadium, home to the Argentine Primera División team River Plate, has a spectator capacity of 84,567 people.
