Liverpool has issued an official statement indicating that Anfield, the home of the Reds, will host two consecutive concerts by singer Dua Lipa on June 24 and 25, 2025.
The Liverpool statement reads: “We are delighted to announce that Dua Lipa will be coming to Anfield on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, for her ‘Optimistic Radical’ tour performance. Sales packages have already been released, starting at £249 per person, plus VAT and deposit. Liverpool will act as the sales agent for events held at the venue.”
Dua Lipa is a female singer, songwriter, model, and actress with dual British/Albanian nationality. At the 44th Brit Awards in 2024, she won the award for “Best Pop Artist.”
In recent years, Liverpool has made significant profits by renting out Anfield for concerts and participating in ticket sales. According to previous reports from Liverpool’s official sources, over the past five years, Anfield has hosted 11 concerts by seven artists, welcoming nearly 500,000 audience members, bringing in £31.3 million in revenue for the local economy, and providing thousands of temporary jobs locally, during which time the Reds also achieved substantial earnings.
