The 23-year-old Odoid came through Chelsea’s youth academy and made 74 appearances for the Blues’ first team, winning the Champions League with the club. Last season, Odoid transferred away from Chelsea, joining Nottingham Forest.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Odoid spoke about his feelings towards Chelsea: “I love Chelsea deeply, and it feels great to be going back next week. I haven’t set foot in this stadium since I transferred away from Stamford.”
“I hope the Chelsea fans don’t boo me and maybe applaud or do something else. I had to make the decision to transfer when I left Chelsea.”
