According to Italian outlet TuttoNapoli, Arsenal have shifted their transfer focus to Victor Osimhen after their attempt to sign Sessegnon fell through.
The Gunners are looking to bolster their attacking line this summer. Their primary target was RB Leipzig’s Sessegnon, but the player announced a contract extension yesterday. TuttoNapoli claims that Arsenal have now made contact with Osimhen as they aim to secure his signature before the new season.
Osimhen is keen on leaving Napoli to join the English Premier League this summer. Following a failed move to Chelsea, Arsenal appears to be his sole remaining option. However, Napoli are not willing to let Osimhen go easily and continue to insist on a £110 million release clause being triggered for his departure.
