Udinese Official: Former Legia Warsaw Coach Ljubičić Appointed New Manager

On June 14, Udinese Calcio released an official statement announcing that former Legia Warsaw manager Ljubičić has been appointed as the new head coach of the team.

Last season, Udinese appointed Fabio Cannavaro as interim manager, and they managed to narrowly avoid relegation. However, at the end of the season, the club decided not to continue its collaboration with Cannavaro.

The 53-year-old Ljubičić has previously coached clubs such as Dynamo Dresden, Kaiserslautern, 1860 Munich, Pogoń Szczecin, and Legia Warsaw. In the 22/23 season, he led Legia Warsaw to win the Polish Cup, but was dismissed by the club in April.
