Recently, Michael Owen told the Manchester Evening News in an interview that he believes Marcus Rashford should remain at Manchester United to resurrect his career.
“I think Rashford should stay at United. He’s a local lad and undoubtedly has great talent. I’m not being disrespectful, he is a good player, but if he were to leave, where would he go?” said Owen.
“Which club would buy him? You’re not going to get him for £20 million. It’ll be £80 million or even £100 million. So which club would do that? I can’t think of one.”
“Rashford has had his ups and downs, struggled for form for long periods, so I’d be surprised if there was a club willing to pay a huge transfer fee for him right now.”
“I really can’t see any other options, unless he can first rediscover his form. Of course, as I’ve mentioned, his talent is undoubted.”
