June 16 – According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan’s newly-appointed president Beppe Marotta recently discussed the contract extension of forward Lautaro Martínez in an interview. He stated that “all the details of Lautaro’s renewal have been finalized, and both parties will soon sign the agreement.”
As previously reported by Romano, Lautaro Martínez and Inter Milan have verbally agreed on every aspect of a new contract, including the final details of the add-ons. The deal is now done, and Lautaro will sign upon his return from the Copa América. The contract will run until June 2029, with an annual net income of €9 million plus additional clauses.
The 26-year-old Argentine forward Lautaro has scored 27 goals and provided 3 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions for Inter Milan this season, contributing to the team’s Scudetto win.
