According to Sky Sports, Leicester City are nearing an agreement with former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper to become their new head coach.
There were previous reports that the Foxes were set to appoint Potter, but Sky Sports suggests that Cooper is the candidate closer to securing a deal.
The 44-year-old Cooper previously led Nottingham Forest to promotion to the Premier League, but was dismissed in December last year and has been out of work since.
