The draw for the Paris Olympics Women’s Volleyball groups will take place tonight at 7:00 PM on June 19. The Chinese Women’s Volleyball team is seeded third.
According to the tournament rules, the 12 teams will be divided into three groups, with the top two from each group and the two best third-placed teams advancing.
The French team, as hosts, secured the A1 spot, while Brazil and Italy, ranked first and second in the world, automatically landed in B1 and C1 positions respectively. The remaining nine teams were seeded into three tiers based on their world rankings.
The seedings are as follows:
First Tier: France (Group A), Brazil (Group B), Italy (Group C)
Second Tier: Turkey, Poland, United States
Third Tier: China, Japan, Netherlands
Fourth Tier: Serbia, Dominican Republic, Kenya
