According to Bild, a German newspaper, American influencer “IShowSpeed,” known in China as “Hyperthyroid Bro,” was seen in Germany during the Euros wearing a Belgium jersey, believing it to be a German one, earning him mockery from German football star Nadiem Amiri.
“IShowSpeed,” with over 25 million followers, is an American internet sensation who is currently live-streaming in Germany. He recently met with Nadiem Amiri, a player and fellow influencer for Berlin club Hertha BSC.
To fit in, “IShowSpeed” donned what he believed to be a retro German national team jersey, but it turned out to be a Belgium one.
Amiri pointed out his mistake, asking, “Why are you walking around in a Belgium jersey?” A confused “IShowSpeed” replied, “No, no, this is a German jersey. I bought it from a shop, they assured me it was German.”
