The first round of the 2024 Guangzhou Auto & Motor Sports Association Series, held in conjunction with the Sanyue Forest Race Park Motorcycle ENG Racing Cup for the Bay Area League, took place on May 18-19 at the Sanyue Forest Race Park. ENG Racing is the resident team, specializing in track experiences, training, vehicle maintenance, modifications, and upgrades for racing enthusiasts.
Over the two-day event, Saturday (May 18) featured qualifying and sprint races (Session 1) on dry conditions, while Sunday’s (May 19) finals (Session 2) were contested on a semi-dry surface. Here are the details for each category:
- HFK KR-1 Junior Standard Class (160cc Elite Junior 160cc Standard): Thirteen racers participated, with the fastest lap time of 52.884 seconds achieved by Huang Tingnuo.
- R3 Standard Class: Ten drivers competed, with the best lap of 52.374 seconds recorded by Hu Tongming.
- Supermoto Open Class: Eleven riders were involved, with a top speed of 50.412 seconds set by Kong Chao.
- Dunen Control Group: Eleven racers (Group A – Teng Yongyou, 51.486 seconds; Group B – Zhang Mingyang, 51.262 seconds) took part.
