Jorge Martín Almoguera has signed a long-term contract with Aprilia, set to become a rider for the Aprilia Racing team starting in 2025.
Following Aleix Espargaró’s announcement of retirement, his friend Jorge Martín is the ideal rider to continue the team’s success. Martín has inked a deal with Aprilia that begins in 2025 and spans across the broader Piaggio Group, with all welcoming the MotoGP title-aspiring racer.
Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola commented, “Jorge’s growth is evident, and he will be a cornerstone in Aprilia Racing’s pursuit of even higher goals. Thanks to the opportunity presented by Mr. Michele Colaninno, we didn’t hesitate and made the decision promptly after last night’s conversation.”
