“To overtake four riders already after two corners is something unbelievable,” said Bagnaia.
“Last year, Miller overtook me on the first corner, going outside. I tried to do the same, and it worked very well.
“Then, arriving on the second corner, I braked a bit later and took the lead. After that, I did 60% of the race because I managed the pace.
“If I think too much about all the people pushing for me, maybe I would cry for happiness. When I was on the podium and saw the crowd, it was something unbelievable. I have never seen something like this.
“When it happens to you, it’s magic and special.”
