As the Red Bull F1 team’s controversy with Horner over alleged “harassment” persists, Mercedes F1 Team Principal Wolff has shared his thoughts on Max Verstappen. He suggests that should the opportunity arise, the team would be keen to secure the Dutch driver’s signature. However, the top priority for now is to enhance their vehicle.
Wolff commented, “I’d love to sign him, but first, we need to sort out our car. We owe it to George and Lewis to improve and give them a better car before we start dreaming about the next few years.”
“We need to wait. As we get a clearer picture of how the season unfolds, there are some interesting options, younger or slightly older drivers. It’s not a decision we want to make in the coming weeks; it’s a matter of months, depending on how things progress.”
