The Bad Homburg event has been upgraded from a 250 to a 500-level tournament this year, with main-draw action taking place from June 23 to 29. The total prize money is €802,237, with 500 WTA ranking points up for grabs for singles and doubles champions. The singles winner will earn €123,480, while the doubles champions will share €41,210. The defending singles champion is Czech player Barbora Strycova, who defeated Italy’s Martina Bronte, 6-2, 7-6(5), to complete her collection of WTA singles titles across all surfaces.
