The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has announced that women’s professional tennis will return to Singapore in the 2025 season with a WTA 250 event.
The tournament will be held at the Kallang Tennis Center from January 27 next year, replacing the Thailand Open previously held in Hua Hin. The draw will feature 32 players in singles and 16 teams in doubles.
Singapore hosted the WTA Finals from 2014 to 2018, where champions such as Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki lifted the trophy.
