On July 17th, the press conference for the 2024 ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour – Naoman Station was held at the Naoman Banner Media Fusion Center. The event will take place from July 21st to July 28th at the Naoman Banner Surut Tennis Center.
The 2024 ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour – Naoman Station marks the sixth time that Naoman Banner has hosted a high-level international tennis event, and it is also the highest-level international single-sport competition hosted in Tongliao City. Authorized by the International Tennis Federation, the event is co-hosted by the China Tennis Association, the Tongliao City Sports Bureau, and the Naoman Banner People’s Government. It is organized by the Naoman Banner Education and Sports Bureau and the Naoman Banner Tennis Association, co-organized by Inner Mongolia Surut Sports Industry Co., Ltd., and operated by Beijing Haolan Sports Culture Industry Development Co., Ltd.
The tournament features women’s singles and doubles events, spanning eight days. From July 21st to 23rd are the qualifying rounds, with the main draw taking place from July 23rd to 28th. The doubles final will be held on July 27th, and the singles final on July 28th, with a total prize money of $25,000.
As a meticulously cultivated brand event in Naoman Banner, this competition is unprecedented in scale, with nearly one hundred professional players from countries such as China, the United States, Slovakia, Thailand, India, and more expected to sign up. Competitors like Lu Jiajing, Shi Han, Yao Xinxin, Li Zongyu, Yaroshenko, Molvayova, Nakklo, and others will engage in fierce battles for the championship. Here, players from different countries and cultures come together, using the language of tennis to tell their stories and dreams.
