Recently, Caruso was involved in a trade with Gilgeous-Alexander, resulting in his move to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In an interview today, the new Thunder addition Caruso shared,
“I’ve already met SGA and Jalen Williams (the team’s center). I sent SGA a text, and he expressed how happy the team is to have me. Of course, I had lots of praise for him as well.”
When asked about fitting into this young, cohesive team, he said,
“I’m here to step up, help my teammates, push them to improve, and I expect them to do the same for me.”
With the veteran presence and his 3&D skills, Caruso is poised to greatly assist the Thunder, filling the spatial role that Gilgeous-Alexander couldn’t previously provide.
