July 5th – The Miami Heat officially announced the signing of Burks today.
The terms of the contract have not been disclosed yet. According to previous reports, Burks signed a one-year minimum deal with the Heat.
Last season, Burks played a total of 66 regular-season games for the Pistons and Knicks, averaging 18.4 minutes, 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
