John Wall discussed the greatest player in Washington Wizards history on Paul George’s podcast.
Wall stated:
“I was the No. 1 pick for the Wizards, and I feel like I’m that guy (the best). I embraced the city, and the city embraced me. I go back every summer; I want to give back some love. I think I’m the best Wizard, but I usually can’t say it myself. I salute Arenas – I heard him on his podcast saying I brought the love of basketball back to him. It would be fantastic if my No. 2 jersey were retired, but that’s up to the owners and the team. Washington will always be home.”
