On June 26, ESPN reported that the Knicks are intent on keeping forward OG Anunoby in free agency.
According to the report,
“The Knicks have a strong desire to retain their forward, Anunoby, but this could make it difficult to re-sign center Hartenstein. They’ve assembled these forwards specifically to contend with this year’s champions, the Boston Celtics.”
Previously, the Knicks made a blockbuster trade to acquire defensive stalwart Mikal Bridges from the Brooklyn Nets.
