Giannis Antetokounmpo to Play in Greece's Exhibition Game Against Bahamas, Despite Illness, Before Olympic Qualifiers

On June 26, according to European journalist Harris Stavrou, Giannis Antetokounmpo will suit up for the Greek men’s national basketball team in their exhibition game against the Bahamas.

Greek national team head coach Vassilis Spanoulis revealed that Giannis is currently unwell but will still participate in tomorrow’s practice session.

The 2024 Paris Olympics Men’s Basketball Qualifiers begin early July, with 24 teams divided into four territories, with one team advancing from each group. Greece, along with Slovenia and the Dominican Republic, is in the Piraeus, Greece territory. In Group A, there are Slovenia, New Zealand, and Croatia; while in Group B, the teams are Egypt, Greece, and the Dominican Republic.
