On June 24th, the Minnesota Timberwolves officially announced that all full and half-season memberships (season tickets) for the lower bowl – the ground level where cheerleaders can toss gifts to fans – for the 2024-25 season have been sold out. Part of this area, the team has sold over 3,500 tickets for the lower bowl seats (the Target Center consists of only two levels).
Ryan Tanke, the Chief Operating Officer of the Timberwolves and Lynx, stated,
“This is an incredible moment for us as fan excitement reaches new heights. While there’s still work to be done, this historic milestone positions the Target Center as one of the most formidable home-court advantages in the league.”
The fervor of basketball enthusiasts in the state of Minnesota is clearly at an all-time high.
The Timberwolves achieved a 56-win regular season record in the 2023-24 campaign, with all 41 home games sold out, marking the first time in franchise history at the Target Center. They then made a stunning second-round comeback in the playoffs to eliminate the Denver Nuggets, advancing to the Western Conference Finals for only the second time in team history.
