Chiba Jets Official: Signed Contract with German Men's Basketball Head Coach in May, Which Was Unilaterally Terminated by Him a Few Days Ago

The Chiba Jets, a club from Japan’s B1 Basketball League, announced that they currently do not have a head coach for the new season.

According to reports, the Chiba Jets had already completed the signing of Gordon Herbert, the head coach of the men’s basketball team that won the World Cup from Germany, back in May. Moreover, Gordon Herbert attended activities at the club last month.

However, a few days ago, Gordon Herbert suddenly terminated the contract unilaterally without providing detailed reasons. Currently, the Chiba Jets have not been able to communicate with him and are thus unable to confirm who will be the head coach for the new season.
