Recently, Edwards discussed swimming during an interview.
Previously, at a small game that the U.S. men’s basketball team participated in, Edwards expressed his interest in wanting to participate in the freestyle swimming event in the Olympics, aside from basketball.
Today, when asked if he is the best swimmer on the U.S. team, Edwards confidently stated:
“Of course, they all can’t swim fast. Embiid, AD, Bam (Adebayo), they can’t swim fast. Bron (James), he can’t swim fast either. KD, Kawhi (Leonard), Tatum, they can’t swim fast at all. The only challenge for me would be Book (Booker), but he might not know how to swim. Jrue (Holiday), he might drown. Haliburton, OMG, if Haliburton beats me in swimming, I’ll never touch water again.”
The room erupted in laughter after his remarks.
