Per Woj, sharpshooter Sam Hauser has re-signed with the Boston Celtics on a four-year, $45 million contract.
Woj tweeted, “Agent informed ESPN that Celtics forward Sam Hauser (one of the league’s most accurate three-point shooters) has agreed to a four-year, $45 million deal.”
“Hauser hit 42.4% from three last season, ranking fourth among players who took at least 400 three-point shots.”
“With Hauser’s salary included, the Celtics’ total payroll for the 25/26 season will be a staggering $225 million, plus a luxury tax of $210 million, not only the highest in the league but also marking the second consecutive year they surpass the second apron line.”
