Shams: The Olympic Experience of the Past Few Weeks Will Motivate Tatum to Pursue the MVP Next Season

Recently, renowned reporter Shams appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and discussed Jayson Tatum, who was part of the underperforming U.S. men’s basketball team at the Olympics.

Shams said, “The experience over the past one or two weeks (at the Olympics), I think will motivate Tatum, giving him more drive. He will want to win a championship in the new season, and he may also want to win the MVP, truly taking the next step in his career.”

During the Olympics, Tatum was DNP (Did Not Play) in two games against Serbia, and saw limited playing time in other matches.
