On September 5, former NBA No.1 draft pick from 2007, Greg Oden, recently spoke about his CBA career on a show.
Oden: “I went to play basketball in China, it felt pretty good. I played there for about 6 months and earned one million dollars, and there was no tax.”
“Before games, I had to smoke continuously, the pressure was immense, I almost smoked a pack of cigarettes every day.”
In the 2015-16 season, Oden played for Jiangsu Men’s Basketball Team, appearing in 25 games for the team, averaging 26.3 minutes per game with 13 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
