A Missed Opportunity! Shijiazhuang’s Multiple Double Performances Still End in Defeat – Swept Out

On September 5th, in the NBL semi-finals, Shijiazhuang Xianglan returned home but still failed to bring any surprises, losing 98-103 to Anhui Wenyi, and were swept out with a total score of 0-3, thus ending their journey this season.

This match saw Shijiazhuang Xianglan return home with a fiery start, taking the initiative with both inside and outside scoring, establishing a double-digit lead at one point. Unfortunately, they couldn’t hold on, and by halftime, the score was overtaken. In the second half, Shijiazhuang suddenly went cold, falling behind by as much as 20 points. Fortunately, they made a continuous push in the final quarter, narrowing the gap to just 3 points at one stage. However, they failed to secure the final defensive rebound and thus lost the game.

Shijiazhuang performed quite well this time, with five players scoring in double digits. Unfortunately, some key plays weren’t executed well, leading to a regretful loss. Weims came off the bench to score the highest for the team with 22 points, Ndour scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while Ennis, who was in poor form, only managed 10 points. On the domestic front, Zhou Zixu hit 4 out of 5 three-pointers to score 18 points, and Wang Xuan added 10 points.
